We had a wonderful Christmas but I didn't take any pictures of all the fun we had. Christmas this year was very quiet and I won't lie it was kinda nice. Every Christmas Eve in years passed we always have a big dinner which is usually all different kinds of soups but this year my mom wanted to do something different so we made Navajo tacos. I thought it was a nice change, because who doesn't like Navajo tacos? Christmas day we didn't get up til 9:30 am. We were both exhausted and just slept. We told my mom the night before that we could pretend to be little kids and not be able to sleep and get up super early. But she didn't like that idea. We played most of the week we were there with our nieces and nephews. Brody loved the kinect it was a big hit. I'm glad we took it. Monday, my parents took us to St.George to go to the movies, we saw War Horse. It was a little slow in the beginning, I really enjoyed but probably will only watch it that one time. We did a little bit of shopping, we found some deals on Blue Ray movies. Because that's what I got Wain for Christmas was a blue ray player. We have a goal to buy all of the Disney movies. It may take us a few years but that is our goal because we want our children to grow up watching Disney movies and loving them as much as we do. We came back up to Orem on Tuesday, the week at home went way to fast. The next time we go down will be for Kolton's homecoming which is March 11th. We got to Skype with Kolton and it was so good to see him, he looks really good, he has loved his mission but he is ready to come home. He has nine Sundays left. I told him to not to worry about coming home because there is nothing exciting going on besides DRAMA.... haha :)
Today and tomorrow, I am babysitting my niece Penny, her daycare person can't watch her this week and I have nothing else to do so I get to watch her, and I love it. She is such a calm toddler and loves me to peaces. She is warming up Wain. It melts my heart watching Wain with my nieces and nephews. He won't change diapers but he will play with them and tease them, and play xbox with them. I know that Wain is going to an AMAZING father someday. As I was watching Penny today, I told Wain that I would be so happy if I could stay home watching our own kids. I know that It will happen someday but in the mean time I will practice with my nieces and nephews, and enjoy my time with my WONDERFUL husband.
I have all this week off which is way nice, trying to re organize our house, all the Christmas stuff is down. Starting January 2nd I go back to working in the mornings and I am so happy about it. I hate working nights. I don't know how people do it. I'm excited to have evenings off so that I can make dinners, and spend time being a better wife and friend. I hope everyone has a wonderful time ringing in the new year. Not sure what we are doing yet, but whatever we do I'm sure it will be fun.. Tchau
