Well I totally failed at the being grateful month.. OH well I tired what else can I say... I have a two hour commute from work and back and it gives me time to think about all the things I am grateful for. Even though I don't like the commute I'm grateful for the time that I have to just be by myself, pray, and have quiet time to remember all that I have blessed with.
I really can't believe that it is almost Christmas.. Where has this year gone? I swear the older I get the years just go by faster and faster. I'm excited for the Christmas. Wain's mom and sister are coming into town next week and staying with us for a few weeks. It will be FUN to have family here and to be able to break up our every day activities and to be able to celebrate the last Christmas with his sister before she goes on her mission (she should be getting her call this week :) I have a few days off during Christmas and new years so It will be nice to have a break from work and to enjoy spending it with the people I love. I won't get to see my family but at least Wain's family loves me (I think :) It will be fun to get to know Wain's mom better. I can count on one hand how many times I have seen her. But that is going to be changing for sure because Wain got a new job but I am not going to do any official announcement til we know for sure when he starts and all the details. Wain also got me my christmas present early... A new phone.... I was really surprised we didn't even talk about it, he just went and did it and I love it.. It's the Droid Razr HD. Good early Christmas present Thank you honey.
I was able to go home a few weeks ago for my oldest nieces baptism. It was sooo nice to go home and see my family. I wish I could have spent more time with my brothers up north but I enjoyed the 24 hrs that I was in Salt Lake. My dad was already up there for an EMT conference so my mom got a hotel room at the Hilton and so two of my brothers stayed with my mom and I went to my dads hotel where it was nice and quiet and I got a few hours of sleep. My friend Sarah came up to Salt lake and we went to dinner then went shopping. It was tons of fun. I love my family so much. My family is NOT perfect and we fight and we disagree but they will always be my family and I'm thankful every day for them and of course I had to get sick right after coming back it seems to be happening every time I come back from kanab. But I am feeling much better today thank goodness.
