I finally met my father in law and I will NOT go into detail but Wain has not spoken to his father in over 2 years. I was excited to meet his dad and to let me judge for myself the type of man he really is. I had heard good and bad things about him so I was not making any judgements towards him til I met him myself. Well he was NOT the kindest man I have met. I don't think him and I will have a friendship. I am PROUD of my husband for being a better man than his father. I'm so glad that my husband has men in his life that are father figures. I'm so glad that Wain has turned his life around so that he doesn't follow in his fathers foot steps. Wain is just a better person and I love him soooo much for standing up for what he believes and not letting his father affect the way he lives and the way he treats me. I love you honey and just know how lucky and proud I am to call you my husband. You are amazing and so caring, patient, understanding, loving. I'm also proud of the way you treat your mother, I know that you would do anything for her. I am just one lucky wife.
Any how, we did have a wonderful trip. We stayed a night at one of my old roommates Ebens and her family house . Her parents have a beautiful house out in Castle Rock Washington. We were able to visit and to ride 4-wheelers. It was TONS of fun.
The majority of our stay was in Scapooose Oregon. It is a cute little town, it's about the size of Kanab. We stayed at our first bed and breakfast and it was great. They treated us like queens and kings. I will defiantly stay at a bed & breakfast again. We also went to the coast after my SIL seminary graduation, we got there in just in time as the sun was going down. It was BEAUTIFUL..... We had fish and chips that were not the greatest which was a disappointment because it was expensive. It was just great trip, but I'm happy to be home sleeping in my own bed.
