So it has taken me a little longer to finally get around to blogging about my new calling. I am the Visiting Teacher Coordinator. I am not sure yet what I am doing but I am really looking forward to this calling. It will be a good way for me to get to know people in the ward and to serve them. I am in the BYU 75th Ward and this ward is always changing. It's a young married ward, where we don't have young mens or young womens and the primary is really small. There are TONS of babies. People come and go and I love it. There is never a dull moment in our ward. We have a wonderful bishop who was just recently called. I could go on and on about my ward I LOVE IT.
Yesterday I got my hair dyed I will have to take some pictures. I went really dark brown and I hope it stays and hides all those gray hairs. Thanks Gillian you are the best!!!!
Here in a few weeks I will be leaving to go up to Salt Lake for three to four days for work. It's convention time and I love this time of the year. My work is very repetitive, and for me convention is a time to really enjoy my job and to be grateful for the job that I do have. I wasn't planning on staying up in Salt Lake but they decided to get all of us hotel rooms and it would be really pointless for me to work til 10pm drive back down and then get up really early and drive back. So my husband will be wifeless for a few days, and I think he will enjoy it. (so that he can play XBOX as much as he wants) I am really looking forward to the next few weeks. October is going to be a big month. I have two sister in laws that will be having babies. I can't wait to be an aunt again. I think I am the best aunt :) I love my nieces and nephews so much. When I am with them they bring so much job and happiness into my life. They love life and watching them helps me to remember to enjoy the little things in life. It's crazy how our family is growing. My parents should be proud of how we all turned out. 6 kids 4 daughter in laws and 1 (and only) son in law, and 8 grand kids. What a heritage my parents have. I think it's pretty amazing. and I am sure more grand kids will be added to that list. I wish I had picture to share so I guess you'll have to wait tell something really exciting happens.. tchau
