I love the 4th of July. I especially loved this year because I got three days to celebrate to be with family and friends. It was wonderful. I wish I would have taken pictures but there was so much going on.. Friday evening Wain was in a prade in Riverton. It was the longest prade ever.. I sat there for a good two hours before he even came by. He still had so much energy even after playing the tuba for that many hours. I was really proud of him. He was so soar and sweaty that I didn't even want to touch him. After, that we decided we would just go stay the night at my brother Thomas's. I love hanging out with them. I have the cutest neice and nephew. Carleigh just doesn't stop talking and has an imagination that is unbelievable. Tyse he is shy at first but then he gets out of this shell and became the cutest kid. He keep throwing his cars into the pool and making wain get them. We hungout with thomas and britney all day Saturday and went to another prade. Which was so much more fun cause we had little kids to entertain us. You know you are in Utah when you find someone you know. While we were watching the prade my brother is like Isn't that Uncle Dave I looked and on the other side of the street was my uncle dave, and his kids misty, and Jaquline, and their familes.. Such a small world. I have not seen them in awhile so we visited with them for awhile.
We went back to Thomas's and had a swimming party and had a BBQ. It was tons of fun. Wain had to go to another prade in West Jordan and there was no way I was going to go sit for another four hours so I talked my brother Jeff to come and hangout and that way I could drive back with him. Which was a great idea. I enjoy spending time with my brothers.
We had Wain's sister with us for a few days then she went to EFY then stayed tell Tuesday, we had alot of fun with her. Hopefully It's NOT another year before we see her again.
Sunday I was exhausted, I stayed awake long enough to go to church, make dinner and had some friends over and we all feel asleep at our place. I have not been that tired in along time, and it felt great to just sleep.
Monday we got up and went to the Provo Festivities. It was tons of fun walking around and seeing what people were trying to sale. Then a bunch of us went to lunch, then went swimming. It was a great weekend, and I couldn't ask for such amazing friends and family. I am truly blessed and sometimes I take for granted the people I have in my life. I'm expecially grateful for the men and women that have given their lives for me and those men and women that continue to fight for the freedom I enjoy. Thank-You to those that have fought for me. You are my heros.
I started another work week, and it seems like I live at Nuskin. I have a great job and I'm lucky to have the job that I do. I work with wonderful people and thats what keeps me going every day. Wain is still looking for a job so hopefully that, that will happen this week.
An update on Kolton. he is doing pretty good. He is not use to the humidity, He has a companion that is very serious, and doesn't know how to have fun. Cause promise me it is very important to have fun while serving but still obeying the mission rules. He is enjoying it and is making alot of memories. He doesn't write much in his letters just that he is fine.. :) well i'm out later.
Sounds really Busy and Really fun! that is so funny that you saw Uncle Dave and the family. They are nice! I wis hI could hear Wain play the Tuba, especially if he is getting recruited to play in big time parades....that is awesome! sounds like you are doing good. I Hope that things have worked out with your car and such...life is crazy sometimes! Love you!
