Kanab Trip

We went to Kanab on Wednesday to hangout and to be there when our
niece Maylee (Justin and Chelseas) got blessed on Sunday. I always have a good time in Kanab. I will NEVER live there again but it will always be home.

Thursday we went into where my moms worked and were messing around with some of the equipment. I guess this is what I have to look forward to when Wain gets OLD... Except I will be older So I don't know how that will work out.

Also if you know my dad you know that he is a workaholic. He hates seeing anybody sitting around doing nothing. So he put us to work by
mowing the lawns. I have NOT mowed the lawn in years so it was pretty funny. Chelsea (my SIL) tried to get a picture of me but I was not going to let that happen. But I did get one of Wain, because really when will I ever see him mow the lawn again. It was super hot, we should have waited to do til the evening but nope we did it in the middle of the day.

My mom bought a scooter from someone and she says it has been the best investment. Watching my nieces and nephews ride around on the scooter is so funny. They go around and around my parents and grandmas house. They lost the key on Sunday so hopefully they find it.
On Thursday we drove over to Orderville with Chelsea to watch Brody play baseball and we just had to stop at the elk farm. This elk was not scared of anybody. It came right up to us. The elk are pretty ugly this time of the year, with them shedding there winter coat.
Then yesterday we were getting ready to come back to Mesa and Wain had dropped me off from getting our cars oil changed. When he calls me and tells me that he got in an accident in my parents Prius. I totally thought it was joking because he has tried this joke before. And then he tells me her is serious and to come to the Heritage house and this is what I find.
So the story from Wains perspective... He is driving back from dropping me off, he comes to a yield sign and he looks both ways twice and he sees no cars coming and so he goes and all of a sudden a car hits him.  As you can tell its not that bad, but he was very upset about it and embarrassed cause really who wrecks their in laws car. My mom was already there by the time I got there, and she was not upset. She knows that accidents happen. My parents have insurance but it doesn't change the fact that this happened. The girls mom that he hit called the cops so Wain got a ticket. We should find out in the next couple of weeks how much it is going to be... We didn't want to tell my dad because we know he would be mad. But I felt that we needed to let him know. So I called him and of course he thought I was joking and he comes down and the cops tell him to not say anything because my dad doesn't stop and stop signs or yield. He has no room to talk. My dad just gave Wain a hard time and told him that its okay and that accidents happen. I'm thankful my parents are not upset. Minus this little accident we had a great time but it's always nice to come home.
