We are soooooo busy these days. School and work have taken over our lives. But we wouldn't have it any other way. So while I have a few minutes I will update our blog.
School is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm taking Astronomy, Ethics & Values, Biology, and Human Sexuality. Having not been in school for a few years it's really weird going back and I feel super old. Most of my classes are with freshman so we are all at a different levels. I love my human sexuality class, it has taught me so much about how I need to make my marriage better(not saying it's bad) but it has taught me how to be a better communicator, how a man thinks, how I can and need to be a better wife. It's just wonderful.
On Monday we celebrated 2 years of marriage. I can't believe it has already been 2 years, at times it seems like we have been married a lot longer but at the same time it just seems like it was yesterday. We didn't get to do anything because we both had school and work. We went to dinner on Tuesday. We have been celebrating all month, like going to St.George and today we are going to Mesquite Nevada for my dads 60th birthday, and then tomorrow we are going to Kanab to have a big party for him. It's a big surprise and I can't wait to see his face when he shows up to the middle school thinking that something is wrong with the air conditioner. It's going to be great. I will have to blog about it when we get back on Monday.
So we have had some big decisions come into our lives. Wain has a scholarship at UVU for music and the music department is going down hill. They are turning into a preforming school instead of a teaching school. Because of this Wain has been deciding what he wants to do. I have NEVER seen him so stressed. His teachers have been telling him how to live his life, that he needs to quit his jobs and take out a loan so that we can survive. so that he can spend more time practicing his tuba and to become a better performer, and that is not why he is going to school. He wants to teach NOT be a performer. Because of this we are looking into other schools. We want to get out of Utah so our first choice is ASU. They have a really good music department, but we also would be paying A LOT more for tuition. Or we can stay in utah and he can transfer up to SLC and go to Utah. Wain has to finish out this semester so we have a little while to come up with a plan.
Well time for my next class.. tchau
