Weekend in Kanab

This passed weekend I went to Kanab, it was a much needed break away from Utah Country and to just relax and enjoy being with my family. Wain didn't get to come due to school and work, so my brother Andrew and his family drove down with me. It took us longer that usual because we got stuck in a snow storm. It was crazy, I have been in worse but my sister in law Amber made it a very interesting drive because she was scared. She is from Texas so she had NEVER seen anything like it. My niece just keep saying to her daddy, "dad you can do it, I'm not scared" it was the cutest thing ever. So we didn't get to kanab til after midnight. We were all so tired, that we all crashed til 8am. My mom asked me to go to St.George with her because she had to pick up the missionaries and she couldn't be alone So it was nice to just have a little bit of mommy and daughter time. She bought me some clothes (Thanks mom) We picked up the missionaries and drove them back to Kanab. I was planning on staying home and helping my mom watch the grandkids but as I saw the rest of my family getting ready to go to Mesquite Nevada to go eat all you can eat sea food. I decided to go as well. I didn't want to be left out, and I'm sure glad I went it was TONS of fun. Plus I had the best date My DAD. I am not a gambler but the rest of my brothers and dad are. I enjoy watching people lose their money while I get to enjoy knowing that I'm not losing any money. :) We ran into a bunch of people that we knew like the shakespears. Also a guy by the name of Randy that lives in Kanab and works from the BLM. Small world. We had a good time, we didn't get back to Kanab til 3am. Plus it snowed on us again so it took us a little longer to get home again.
Saturday, we all were lazy and I stayed in my PJ's all day, I know I know but it was much needed and we were not going anywhere. We just watched tv and enjoyed each others companies.
Sunday we got up early and headed home so that we could enjoy a nice relaxing sabbath so I thought. I got home and Wain told me that I needed to drive one of our cars to Salt Lake for his concert that was being held at the cathedral of the Madeline . I didn't want to go I was tired and I just wanted to stay home. Long story short, I ended up going, I'm glad I did because it was a really cool church and the concert wasn't that bad. We didn't get home til 11pm and I was done for the day I went straight to bed... It was a great weekend but I'm glad to be home, but NOT glad to be back to work :) that's my life.
