Day 4-A habit that you wish you didn't have
True story I use to have the worst habit of chewing my finger nails. It was so bad that at times I would make them bleed. Ya gross I know. It wasn't til I was in high school that I stopped. Why you might ask? Because in my homemaking class a lady came in and taught us about hair and nail care, and she asked how many of us chewed our nails, I raised my hand. Then she proceed to have us use a microscope to look at our finger nails. Can I just say that was enough to make me want to puck, it was so gross to see what gets in your finger nails. I'm glad I broke that habit....
Another habit I didn't wish I had was NOT doing the laundry. My problem here is that I HATE putting laundry away. The clean laundry just ends up on the dresser and I look at it every day and tell myself that I need to put it away. I even asked Wain if he would do it with me so that it got done faster NOPE that still hasn't happened yet. OH well...
My biggest habit that I wish I didn't have is that I wouldn't make harsh judgments about myself and others. This is something that I am working on daily and I know for a lot of people this is something that we all are working on. I am so quick to make judgments about what people wear, how they walk, there life style, etc and it's just NOT right because I have NO idea what is going on in their lives, I really need to be careful of how I look at people. Because I know that I wouldn't want people to judge me, worse is that I judge myself so much such things as I am not pretty enough or I don't have this or, or that I am not good enough etc. Bad, bad, bad, habit that I need to break. President Monson's talk that he gave at the last Relief society meeting always comes to mind when I think about judging. If you have not read it or listened to I definitely recommend it.
I'm sure I have more habits I don't want but I just can't think of anything.
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND. :)
I love that you are doing this...it gives me something to read:) I think your just great! And I think the biting the nails thing runs in our family:) Love you!
